(Internship) climate scientist
Callendar is looking for an intern with a scientific background, specializing in climate science, to support the climatology team in the review and development of our tools.
Responsibilities

Review of different bias correction/downscalling methods.

Proposal & review of relevant indicators for precipitation assessment in a changing climate.

Application of procedures to concrete cases.
Qualifications
-
Final-year engineering or science master's student
-
Specialized in climate science or applied statistics/mathematics with a strong interest in climate issues.

Good level in Python programming (in particular: xarray, scipy...).

Experience on a computer center and/or in handling climatological data (NetCDF, Grib, etc.) is a plus.
